I've got an original account tied to an email address (I can provide the original account name and email address if needed). I know the email/gmail account is correct because the email history has notes from dndbeyond.com referencing the original account name.
After clearing cookies on my machine, I am not able to log in to the original account & had to create this new / temporary? account. I'm getting a message that the email provided is not associated with an existing account.
Typically not a big deal, but my original account has a character tied to a campaign hosted by a dndbeyond subscriber... and don't want to create a duplicate char for that campaign if possible. Any options? Or am I stuck with this fugly work around?
D&D Beyond originally only offered login in via Twitch, Google login was added later. If the e-mail address in question is the same one associated with your Twitch, I might recommend trying to "Login with Twitch" option.
If not, I would recommend opening a ticket with support, who will be more able to securely assist you with this matter.
