This may well be operator error, and I’m sorry if this has been discussed, but I was not able to find a previous post. I have a player who is a trickery domain Cleric pretending to be a life domain Cleric (the rest of the party are not aware), and we have just begun using D&D Beyond. Neither he, nor I, was able to figure out a way to remove his Always prepared spells to replace them with the correct spells without officially changing his domain and giving up the gig. Is there a way for he as the player, or I as the DM, to make this change within Manage Spells to remove those spells which he does not actually have always prepared? I realize this is automated based on his Domain choice, but is there a way, or the potential to add a way, for us to override that aspect of his character? Thank you for your time.
You can homebrew the subclass. Make a copy of trickery domain and rename it life domain. Your players won't notice unless they try to make a cleric, and if they do, just tell them it is a copy for experimenting with homebrew and not to use it.
Alternatively, you could use a homebrew background that adds the trickery spells to the spell lists, that way they can at least be prepared manually even if they were not cleric spells. The guy pretending to be a life cleric would probably prepare the life cleric spells anyway.

This is a fantastic solution and I can’t believe it hadn’t occurred to me. Thank you very much!
