Unable to export character sheet to PDF. Keep getting 500 Internal Server Error. Happens from "Character Builder > What's Next > Export Character Sheet" and "View Character Sheet > Character Name pull-down > Export Sheet". Tried multiple browsers, cleared cache/cookies in each, rebooted PC, etc. I am a Windows Desktop Engineer for a BIG10 university.
Relevant system specs: - Windows 10 build 1903 - Current versions of Firefox, Chrome, Edge - No browser add-ins or plug-ins
I posted my original message last night from my Home PC. I have tried export as well from my work laptop and I am running into the same 500 Internal Error message when trying to export to PDF. I will try a few things with the character to try and determine the issue.
I had a custom Skill added and it was causing the 500 error. I copied my character and removed the custom Skill and the export to PDF worked perfectly. When I added it back in, the 500 error returned.
Revised character that works: <Retracted - Character Copy Deleted>
I also found that when the PDF was generated, the Artificier Steel Defender stat block did not generate, could this information be added to the PDF?
Hello MNParadox! I am glad you were able to locate the issue. If you create a custom skill and do not set an ability score it uses, this can cause issues with the export.
Thank you for your request for the Steel Defender! I am happy to pass that along.
