I have a dwarven life cleric wearing chain mail (AC 16) and shield (+2). Strength is sufficiently high to wear the armor (16). The application is calculation my AC as 17. Should it be 18?
Inventory lists the chainmail as AC 16 and equipped.
Inventory lists the shield as +2 AC and equipped.
Am I missing something?

It says "-1 Acid Damage" when you click on your AC - if you click on the drop down options does it show any customisation on your AC tab?
