I have a homebrew subclass based on a cleric. I've added some homebrew spells from the community that now reside in my Homebrew Collection. I'd like to add those homebrew spells as part of the new subclass I've created. When I try to add those spells in the "Additional Specific Spells" list nothing shows up. I also tried adding a feature to the subclass and adding the homebrew spell to that, but with the same results. Can I add homebrew spells to my subclass? What am I missing?
Thanks, I have confirmed that the spells do show up when it is my own homebrew. So a follow-up question: part of the reason I'm trying to add spells from my homebrew collection is to not have to redo the work. It seems it would be useful if you have it in your collection to be able to use it within your own homebrew. I would hate to have to re-create every spell I found on the community so that it would work in my homebrew. It would be slightly less convenient to copy a spell from my homebrew collection as a template to create my own homebrew, but it did not seem that I could do that.
A lot of things about homebrew are planned to change. Maybe they will let you use public homebrew in personal creations or at least make it easier to copy/modify public homebrew. But it is a long way off before they even start working on homebrew.
This is still the best interface I've worked with and look forward to future changes. It looks like for now I'll have to make my own homebrew for the handful of things I want specifically for my subclass. Thanks for the quick replies!

I think they have to be your own homebrew.
