I have a character with the "Courtier" background. In the description section in edit mode, "Appearance" is not a field that is available (I have height/weight/etc. but not the general Appearance field). When I am viewing the completed sheet, Appearance is available under Description and I was able to fill that field once from that view; however, I am not able to edit it any further from that view. I'm new to this site and maybe I'm overlooking something but damned if I can figure out how to edit my appearance again.
Ha! That's it -- I was looking for an "edit" button instead of just typing in the box. Hey, I'm always happier for a dumb mistake than an actual problem. Thank you!
I have wished for this since day one. I don't think it will ever happen. I also wish WotC would add a campaign notes session to track notes and progression in a campaign. It would be nice to have in either the Campaign section or on the character sheet.

Just tested something. The better way is to write out what you want to add in a text document, copy the text and then paste into the appearance text box. It saves after and you have to wait for it to load the change, but it is severely faster.
There is a campaign notes section Mergon, two in fact. Both are for the DM though and one is public while the other is only they can see. I use it to track progress and I always read out the notes of the previous session so that we're all on the same page.

Hello! When you click on that field in viewing your sheet, a sidebar should open. In that sidebar you can modify, add or remove any text you choose.

Can I add a photo to the Appearance tab? If so, how large can the file be?
I can use this text field, but it tries to save every time I enter a key, so it's really slow. Is there a way to make it not save until I hit save?
I am having the same issue with typing anything under the Notes tab. All sections.

Having the same problem too. The text fields on the "Notes" page are REALLY slow or just don't work at all.
