As a test, I was trying to build my level 5 Barb for our Tyrrany of Dragons campaign, but several options seem to be missing:
I chose to take the Charger Feat instead of an ability score increase, but the only feat listed there is the Grappler Feat. Is this a bug? Did I bork one of the data fields?
In PhB, your Background gives you extra skill proficiencies on top of the two you can select as a Barb, but I can't find an option to take them. They don't show up as 'proficient' on the final character sheet, which skews the numbers...
Minor Potions of Healing are not listed when you select the item filter, 'Potions'. Instead, you have to locate them out of the general items/tools/packs list.
These were the main problems I encountered, I hope that it's just a simple fix. This seems like a pretty awesome resource, I'm sure our group would love to have something like this!
I too am having trouble like this. We as a group are converting over from Paper and Pencil to D&D Beyond and I have a Ranger where instead of taking the Ability Score Improvement, I took Alert (Feat) PH165, but when I try and do this online, it only offers me 2 possible Feats: Grappler and Svirfneblin Magic of which the latter isn't a Feat that I'm aware of, but I may just not be able to find it.
What if you physically own like say every book currently published in hardback, is there a way to redeem your hardcopies? Also I recently just bought the monster manual and etc on Roll20. How many times is Wotc trying to sell me the same content?

No, there is no way to redeem the content in DDB via purchased hardcover books.
It is up to you to choose which platform licensing D&D products is more suitable for your needs.
damn, I thought dnd beyond was going to be awesome but you guys just want to sell the same book to me 3-4 times. Thank you though answered my question.

Just as side note: DDB is not a product of WotC, like the other platforms (Fantasy Ground, Roll20). DDB is a product of Curse, a subsidiary fo Twitch. So, we are talking about completely different companies here.
I am sure you can find still some in DDB with the free account.

D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.
