For Barbarian archetype the only option is berserker. I am a totem warrior and only use the standard animals in the PHB - not the extra ones released later. Also can't access Outlander (or several other) backgrounds which are all basic PHB options.

Also when I choose a feat the only options I get are Grappler and Svirfneblin Magic (which I shouldn't even have access to!)

For rogue archetype the only option I get is thief, not even Assassin or arcane trickster which are both PHB

My bad! I hadn't accepted my DMs campaign invite - which resolved everything!
