Just to give some background I purchased some sub classes so my friends could play them in our D&D campaign. So I made a copy of Arcane Trickster to homebrew so a friend of mine could play the subclass in our campaign. Using the Campaign Link he made a character that used the homebrew subclass that was a essentially a copy of Arcane Trickery. Then he his character Level 20 so he could view all the spells that came with the subclass. However, as he went to the Add Spells tab he noticed a lot of spells were missing.
My friend could only see the following spells:
Floating Disk
Hideous Laughter
Acid Arrow
Arcanist's Magic Aura
Phantom Steed
Tiny Hut
Black Tentacles
Faithful Hound
Private Sanctum
Resilient Sphere
Secret Chest
I assumed that the spells he were missing were behind a pay wall and that's why he couldn't see them. So I made a homebrew copy of the spells and added them to the homebrew subclass. I was very careful to make sure that the homebrew subclass was inputted into the homebrew spell's AVAILABLE FOR CLASS(ES) tab. I also confirmed that the homebrew spell was in the homewbrew subclass's ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC SPELLS tab. With everything set up I was sure we could spot the spells that were added. However, we had no luck. The spells were not showing up. Strange enough the spell was showing for Wizards which was inputted into AVAILABLE FOR CLASS(ES) in the homebrew spell. One other step I took to troubleshoot the issue was I created a character with the homebrew class and I did not see the homebrew spell even though it is clearly linked to the homebrew subclass.
I really don't understand why this wouldn't be working. I made a copy of the subclass and the spells to homebrew without any making any changes other then ensuring the spell was linked to the subclass. Your assistance would be much appreciated.
Thank you for responding @DxJxC. How would I go about making sure that the wizard spell list is within the homebrew subclass? Where do I enable the spell list from within the subclass? Is it within class features?
As stated earlier I confirmed that the homebrew spells were in the homewbrew subclass's ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC SPELLS tab. Also, many of the wizard spells that are not homebrew are already here and they are visible when I go to the Add Spells tab for my character. The main issue I am having is that my homebrew spell is not being shown in my homebrew subclass.
If you made changes to the homebrew after adding it to a character, you might have to remove the homebrew and readd it (may not be a bad idea to try that anyway).
Since I am not a Mod, I can't see any of the character or homebrew settings, so I am just trying to suggest what I can think of. Your post made it seem like they didn't have full access to the wizard spell list, so that is what I thought the problem was.
My apologies for the confusion @DxJxC thank you for your assistance.
@MellieDM Thank you! You are absolutely right. I couldn't see any spells that were 5th level and up that were homebrew and non-homebrew. I find it strange that Arcane Hand is tagged as "Available For: ARCANE TRICKSTER" when they cannot learn the spell.
I've already commented in other threads why arcane trickster and eldritch knight should not have their own "available for" tags. The synopsis is they already have the wizard spell list, adding the subclass is just saying they can cast it twice and actually creates a bug causing spells to be listed twice.

Best regards,
Make sure that the homebrew subclass was given the wizard spell list.

In basic information there is a field called "additional spell list".
As stated earlier I confirmed that the homebrew spells were in the homewbrew subclass's ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC SPELLS tab. Also, many of the wizard spells that are not homebrew are already here and they are visible when I go to the Add Spells tab for my character. The spell you have linked is a 5th level spell, Arcane Tricksters can only learn up to level 4th level spells.

According to the comments it's so Arcane Tricksters can use Arcane Hand from a scroll.
