I am currently playing a Lv9 Druid/Wizard multiclass. I have access to 5th level spells, and have a spell book I can copy 5th level spells out of, but D&D Beyond isn't allowing me to add the wizard spells into my spellbook beyond my current wizard level (Lv5/3rd Lv. spells). Is there any way to adjust this, to allow these spell book levels to be unlocked and show spells learned beyond the wizard level to be unlocked, up to current mage levels? If the spell slots can be entered correctly for multiclass characters, it shouldn't be that big of a reach to allow wizard spell book spells to be learned up to current mage level, right?
When multiclassing, you can only learn spells as if you were just that level of a class, it just looks at your wizard level for what wizard spells you can learn and your druid level for what druid spells you can learn:
You determine what spells you know and can prepare for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class. If you are a ranger 4/wizard 3, for example, you know three 1st-level ranger spells based on your levels in the ranger class. As 3rd-level wizard, you know three wizard cantrips, and your spellbook contains ten wizard spells, two of which (the two you gained when you reached 3rd level as a wizard) can be 2nd-level spells. If your Intelligence is 16, you can prepare six wizard spells from your spellbook.
Sorry, DDB is enforcing the multiclass rules and don't have a toggle for that rule (I know some people want to be able to change rules to more house rules).
