My ranger character at level 1 has a +5 damage modifier displaying on the Longbow attack.
I've fixed it to +3 by customising the damage with a -2.
Where are the additional +2 damage points coming from? Shortsword damage is accurately displayed in both main and off-hands.
Not sure how to link to the character, but could I just paste the web address into this box?

Your homebrew bracers are responsible.
Thanks for this - it's been driving me mad....
I built on top of an existing item, but didn't go in and edit the existing properties. This set of tools is really impressive.
