Homebrew modifier Hit Points per Level makes item unusable

When I add the modifier "Bonus - Hit Points per Level" to a homebrew item and then have a character equip that item, the character sheet becomes unaccessible (infinite loading screen both for viewing and editing) until I remove the modifier again.
