On chrome I found that if you enables the 'Hardware accel' it fixed this for my mates. Give that a go in the chrome settings
This is the fix thanks
Damn - I had just turned that off, because it made the Youtube previews solid green. Sheesh. Now I have to switch back and forth .. Guess it's firefox time ;)
Hardware acceleration was not a fix for me on Chrome. However, I did find that there there is an issue if you are using more than one window for your tabs. Try dragging the D&D Beyond or VTT tab back into the same window and roll the dice. The rolls are remarkably fast when they are in the same window and dismally slow when they are separated. Hope that helps.
None of the above have worked. I have tried on Chrome and Edge and neither one is working correctly. Dice take forever to laggily spin across screen. All browesers up to date, only have 2 extensions tried disabling both neither worked. Change dice set same issue.
I use opera GX browser and I didn't have Hardware Acceleration on, but when i turned it on, the dice started working, so thank you for the backwards help.
I personally had to uninstall my built in IntelHD graphics driver that solved it. The version 15.33 caused some unity based programs to crash and seemed to also affect dndbeyond dice rolling :D
For those of us for whom enabling hardware acceleration did not work, try going to Chrome's experimental features (enter chrome://flags/ in URL bar) and enabling the "Override software rendering list" feature. Worked for me anyway!
Found another weird related issue. Dice roller was taking up to 30 seconds to roll, didn't show the dice, and each die would give the same result for each roll. Tried over a dozen D20's and they all resulted in 4's. 20 D6 all resulted in 6's. Turning off adblock fixed the problem. Not sure how that affects the dice rolls themselves but there it is.
I have been having this issue for months this fixed it. Thanks.
Thank you, this was the issue for me as well.
This is the fix thanks

I went to My Dice-> settings and turned the shadows to low. It speed everything up for me.
I managed to get it to work by disabling and re enabling hardware acceleration in chrome
