I'm trying to add Phantasmal Force spell to my 3rd level bard. However, when I go to the 2nd level spell list to add it to my D&D Beyond character sheet, it's not listed. However, my 5E Player's Handbook does. It's the 10th printing version of the book. Is this a bug in the D&D Beyond software or was this spell removed after the 10th printed version of the PH 5E?
I've just been using the free trial to see what the site has to offer and how it works.
Also, I noticed that my skill points in Deception only added up to +7, it should be +8 since I'm an expert in it (doubles CHA bonus + Prof Bonus). CHA bonus is +3, Prof Bonus is +2: 3+3+2 = 8. So I had to manually override this issue to fix it.

D&D Beyond doesn't offer a 'free trial', so I assume you mean the Basic Rules (which are always free). If that's the case, Phantasmal Force isn't included in the Basic Rules, as hollowtpm pointed out, Phantasmal Force is only found in the Player's Handbook.

Expertise doesn't double your ability modifier in the chosen skills, it doubles your proficiency bonus. So for Deception, +7 is correct: CHA bonus of +3 plus twice your proficiency bonus of +2 for a total of +7 (3+2+2)
Expertise
At 3rd level, choose two of your skill proficiencies. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of the chosen proficiencies.

You do own the PHB on DDB yes?
I ask this because I just made a level 3 bard and had no issue adding Phantasmal Force.
Sometimes linking your character will help because mods can check if there is an issue effecting your character.
