I was testing a homebrew race that I had been working on, and I cannot change the race of the character back to what I originally had. It is now stuck on the homebrew race. I have tried everything possible and it is still stuck on the homebrew race. 

I was testing a homebrew race and it is now refusing to let me change the race of the character. It is stuck on the homebrew race, it isn’t even allowing me to click on change race. I’ve tried everything and nothing has helped.

I have been playing this character since March without problems. Now all of the sudden there is one.

I had a Similiar thing happened and fixed it by disabling the Tasha feature, switching race, going to the character sheet to ensure the race had been changed and then turning the Tasha feature back on. 

I had the same problem as OP, but the suggestion by Artemisthemp worked. Turn off the toggles for Optional Class Features and Customizing Your Origin.
