Using App Version 1.0.2.9 on a Samsung Tab S3 tablet running Android 7.0, and for the life of me I can't get any of the content from my Legendary Bundle to download at all. On my previous Samsung tablet (a Galaxy Tab S 10.7) I could at least get the Basic Rules to download, but right now, none of the content will finish downloading. I set it for the Experimental SD setting; I've tried downloading with that setting turned off; and, as far as behavior goes, whether its one download or many simultaneously -- it doesn't matter if I leave the app open and focused, or if I try to multitask -- the best I can ever get on a download is about 60% or so before it completely fails and all I can seem to do is attempt to download again from the start.
Not sure if it's a user error type thing, or if I've encountered a random bug, but I haven't seemed to have found anyone else reporting this behavior.
On an iPad 2 9.7", iOS 10.3.3 (latest for this model), the settings under "My account" are squashed and some cannot be modified through this menu. E.g. for the font size medium is half visible, large is fully visible, small is not visible. More annoying, there is no way to select the first entry (small). The same apply to the other settings with 3 choices. Possibly you can slide to see it, but if you slide you cannot select!
I have a photo but the insert/edit image does not allow to upload an image. This would be convenient for the bugs.
The things are fine (all options visible) on an iPhone 6S Plus iOS latest.

Thanks for finding this; it's a problem specifically with iOS 10 and users on iOS 11 should not have this problem. We'll get a fix for it in the next update; in the meantime, the compendium options are also accessible while viewing a book (to right corner), so you can always change them via that menu.
Lost my bookmarks with the newest update which is a pretty big bummer. It'd be nice if we don't have cloud sync at least be able to back them up somehow. Or if there's a way that updating could leave the bookmarks intact, that's even better.

The Mobile App crashes constantly on load while loading the compendium images. I currently only have access to basic game rules so all the other source books direct to Marketplace. But I can hardly ever get to any of them from the mobile app due to all the crashes. It starts to load, then boom! :(
Running the latest update of D&D Beyond (1.0.2) on iOS 11.2.6 on an iPad Mini 2 (ME280C/A) 32GB.
It doesn't seem to matter if I have my iPad in landscape or portrait mode.
PS: I used to be a tech writer for Metrowerks (the makers of CodeWarrior who single handedly saved Apple's hide when they moved to the PowerPC architecture back in the 90s) who is now Free Semiconductor or something like that. I'm also 2nd author of Linux Firewalls second edition, and have written for SAMS, New Riders, and O'Reilly. At any rate, i've done a lot of technical writing in my time and Quality Assurance testing, bug testing, and programming. If you need another able body for development, deployment and documentation, please contact me and I can point you to other resources I've written. I would love to participate more in this and do something I love :)
I like the app iPad2/iPhone6S+ (hoping for more) and not a bug per se but an enhancement which could make the application more responsive. You can chose a few display options such as line density etc.
Please add an option to hide the images. - Even with all the other options used to have a dense text, they take real easte for nothing, on iPhone especially. No point in scrolling. - you use battery and the CPU to display them. I prefer to extend my battery life and to have a more responsive app.
Using the app on Samsung Galaxy A5 phone, Android version 7.0, Samsung experience version 8.1:
For Tomb of Annihilation I created a bookmark with Orolunga on the screen. The bookmark, however, returns me to the start of the section which is the "Locations in Chult" header. I then have to scroll through locations A-O before reaching my spot. Also I noticed that the Orolunga entry itself seems to have problems as part of the "Third Steps" section is missing and from then on the font is different (bold and orange I believe).
Navigation UX feedback: iOS app nav (latest release). I'm *REALLY* excited about the possibility of driving DM work on an iPad (iPad Pro - larger 12.9" size) through this D&D Beyond platform and native iOS app.
UX feedback:
1) Clicking into content from a book's Table of Contents page, and then navigating back to the Compendium via lower-left button, and then back into the book from the Compendium page, leaves one with no "Back" breadcrumbs to quickly get back, say, to the Table of Contents page.
2) Also, the page-nav pop-up UI, across the bottom of the page -- this is REALLY tough to discover, and a difficult gesture to acclimate to. Needs a re-think for sure; isn't graceful.

Same for iOS app v1.0.2.5 on an iPhone 6 running latest iOS 11.3. The app can't survive much from the Compendium save for the Basic Rules. Lots of hanging/crashing.
The Curse of Strahd content in the mobile iOS app has a broken link when tapping on "View Forward" on the title/Table of Content page. The UX just stalls with a spinning progress circle. One can thankfully 'Back' out of the stall.
Same problem seen on an iPhone 6 and iPad Pro 12.9":
Really hoping that at some point soon we won't have to re-download everything every time the app downloads. It's frustrating, particularly since it seems like a crapshoot as to whether the downloads actually complete or not. At least bookmarks seem to be saved now.

The 1.0.2.5 upgrade from ??? (3 weeks old?) has been rocky for the least (ios11.latest/iphone6S+ ios10.latest/iPad2).
My existing content had been wiped out on both devices. iOS upgrades are usually much smoother. Bookmarks wiped out too. For more than a week, any try to download my content blew up in the middle of the download (WIFI).
It just startworking today Sat. 14th for the iPhone. For the iPad/iOS10.X, as soon as I do something in the app, click any menu, it BLOWS UP!!!! UNUSABLE !!!
I can not access content on my 9.7” iPad Pro (11.3) while connected to the internet through personal hotspot on iPhone 7 Plus (11.3). I receive the try again with an active internet connection message.
I'm sure this has already been asked, but how do I actually SEARCH for stuff?
Every time I put in a word in the search bar it just gives me a huge list of completely unrelated pages. Why can't it work like it does on the website? If I search 'stunned' the first result should tell me all the info on stunned, instead of links to 50 random pages where the tenth page is the one I actually need. I always have to use the website instead. It's quicker just using the books.

So is there a Testflight App for testing new features? If so, how can I join?

iOS v11.3.
DDB app v1.0.2.5,
CoS book content v4.
I agree that 1) and 2) make the navigation more complex than required.
