Every new book this happens and it gets ignored. There is no option to download a book, the app never checks for the book and everytime someone mentions it, nothing is ever done about it. The only fix is to delete everything and start over again... which I wouldnt mind, even though it's inconvenient. But there is no download all button anymore and I own every book. Please fix this
This appears to be a problem with functionality of storing the books on a SD card instead of the internal memory, from the looks of it the app has some kind of issue with being able to check what books are on the SD card and so is unable to accurately update the manifest.
Really hope this does get fixed as it's a real nuisance having to do a fresh install of the books with each new release...
One workaround that has been mentioned a few times is to reset the storage back to the phone's internal memory and then log out and back into the app for it to force an update of the directory, however some of us do not have enough internal memory to fit the books to do this so are required to do an entire fresh install of every book with each release.
I just spent days trying to figure out why I couldn't get the new Strixhaven book on my app (so frustrating!), but I'm so glad this worked, thank you for sharing this workaround. Fingers crossed the Devs work on this asap, as it's really frustrating!
There was an android update to dndbeyond app last night and afterwards it prompted me to update list. So maybe they finally fixed it, because it has never prompted that for me before

Please D&D Beyond devs fix this issue asap!

Today I got a prompt (on its own, without me doing anything) to update book list so... something happened I guess. That resolved my issue.
