I've noticed the pricing of some of the books in the iOS app have different prices than they do on the dndbeyond.com website shop. Specifically, many of the adventure books cost USD $25 on the app while they cost $30 on the website.
Why the difference? Aren't they identical content? (Yes, the prices I'm comparing appear to be for the whole book, not just the compendium or subparts.)
Also, can someone confirm that a purchase on one type of device allows use of the product from any type of I may thereafter use to access my account? For instance, if I purchase an adventure for the cheaper price through the app, can I still access it through the website just as if I had purchased it through the website? (I've been burned by digital services in the past where this was not the case.)
Maybe its to pay the ones working on the website? Extra 5 dollar pay? And its also a part of the website so it works in coordination with the websites features? Maybe the app just cost less maintenance?

I think reasons like these only make sense if the website and app are two separate accounts, where purchases in one place cannot be used in any other place. I hope that is not the case.
