It is *so* frustrating that the "go back" button (lower right on Samsung phones) closes the mobile D&D Beyond app rather than, well, go back to the previous page.
Similarly, change phone orientation brings us back to the D&D Beyond home page rather than just changing screen orientation. I had to rewrite homebrew creations because of accidentally moving the phone.
I'm a bit confused but if I had to guess, you may have installed an imposter app that simply hosts the website within a web browser. This would explain why the back button would not function as you expected.
Be wary of imposter apps that may have malicious intent. You should always verify that the app's publisher is genuine (in this case, Curse).

This statement is what tipped me off. Right now, the D&D Beyond app is limited to Compendium content only for an e-reader experience with offline capabilities. We are looking to expand functionality in the future.
Woah, ok. It had same name, same logo in the Google Play store (except black ampersand dragon on white background logo). I just assumed there were currently two apps: one for phones which duplicated the website and the tablet app to read and download the digital books.
I'm rarely fooled by false apps, but they got me this time. Will delete and thanks for the heads up!
If you do stumble across these fake apps, do not hesitate DM'ing me (or other D&D Beyond Staff) about it with a link to the Play/App Store. These types of phishing attacks could steal account credentials, inject ads and more.

Please, please, please fix these issues.
