Hi, I’m having issues with application state when switching back to the mobile app on my iOS devices. Every time I switch to another app, the app immediately restarts. When I switch back to the app, all navigation is lost. I am taken to the home view with the list of books. It does look like the app is trying to remember navigation state when in a book, but it doesn’t work well. Navigating to the book I was on before switching takes me to a page I visited days before.
I do understand that iOS manages app lifetime and will terminate suspended apps. However, it looks like the state restoration for the app is broken. Given the long load time when starting the app, having to click on your book and find the page you were last on makes it extremely difficult to use the same device for any sort of campaign planning.
