The damage for the dart is listed as 1d4 piercing and 3d4 lightning. However, when the seeker dart is listed as an attack, the attack is listed as a ranged attack, rather than a DC save, thereby making the damage 1d4+[DEX] piercing and 3d4 lightning.
Edit:. It appears that, since the seeker dart is based off a dart, the damage is calculated as if the seeker dart is thrown like a regular dart. However, the item description states that the item forces a saving throw and is not actually a ranged weapon attack.

I believe the range is also incorrect, as the Seeker Dart description says it has a range of 120 feet, but on the attack page, it says 20/40.
The attack description is for the Seeker Darts default dart attributes, not its magical ones
