Would it be possible to put the page number reference in the link on the table of contents that matches up with the physical book? So digitally it means nothing but it helps people who search online (outside of DDB) and need to go to a certain.
For example (using Ravenloft as an example)
Introduction (pg 1)
Ch. 1 Character Creation (pg 2)
Haunted Heroes (pg 3)
Lineages (pg 7)
etc..
It's a one-time effort, no magical page number linking or anything. Just a mention in the Table of Contents would do wonders to help everyone navigate between physical and digital copies.
