I want the ability to create non-magical equipment that saves in my collections. I am aware that I can create exactly that character by character, but if I'm giving an entire party a non-magical item then I don't want to create it from scratch for every single character.
This is an often-requested homebrew feature. Hopefully we'll see something of the sort in the planned homebrew overhaul, though there's no ETA on when we might expect that.

Create the equipment as a "Wonderous Item" in Homebrew. It doesn't have to have any stats for magical properties.

Thank you for the advice. That's what I'm currently doing, but it's not exactly the solution I'm looking for long-term.
