Hi all! First time posting in DDB forums so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong!
To clarify my suggestion; as a user, when I'm looking at items in the marketplace, like a sourcebook, or maybe some specific spells in one specific sourcebook, I would like to be able to add items to a "wishlist". This would serve several purposes:
Help users keep track of things they want to purchase but maybe don't have the immediate means (I made a whole text document with all the races, classes, spells and full sourcebooks that I eventually want to buy)
Let other users see what their friends want, and thereby make it easier to gift someone something that they want
Of course the second point would be an opt-in feature where users choose whether they want their wishlist to be public or not. I think it would be a really beloved feature; for one, as the Inventory thing is showing, lots of dnd users like to be organised, which is something that this wishlist should help with. Plus, in my experience, the DND community is very generous and gift-oriented. A feature like this that makes giving your friends stuff easier is bound to get lots of use!
I understand this would be a whole new interface and require a lot of work on the backend, and there are definitely bigger priorities, but I wanted to throw it out there.
Just joining my voice to the same request. It would be great to be able to wishlist items, sourcebooks, etc I'm interested in. As a bonus, DDB could email me when books on my wishlist are on sale. Lets me save money lets them tempt me further to buy the sourcebook. (or other item)
You managed to get the wishlist to work? It automatically throws whatever I put in it out and says that my wishlist doesn’t exist. I thought it was a universal issue when I saw some other people complaining about it a while back. Looks like I might need to put in a support ticket then.

It's definitely been buggy for me - sometimes it takes multiple clicks to get it to register. And you need to watch the top right where the popup tells you it was added. The heart doesn't always fill in for me. The way I used it was by having my wishlist open in another tab and then reloading it whenever I thought I'd added something to the wishlist to make sure it actually made it in. I'm on Fedora Linux 39 with the Vivaldi browser. I have noticed on many sites that something about Vivaldi (maybe their blockers for ads and trackers is a tad too aggressive) makes some pages not work right. They usually work better in Firefox if that happens.
Please!!! For the love of all that may be holy, THIS!!! It gets so disorganized trying to spreadmart my collection crossed with what I still plan to buy crossed with digi vs phys. Then new content keeps coming. Don’t get anyone wrong, you rock! But we need this. All of us nerds on this site need this utility. How many of us are IT. Let’s volunteer. 😂

Can't believe it's been more than 4 years since this was posted and they've not done it
Has it been four years since Aug 6, 2021?
Or maybe only four years since the poster joined DND beyond.
yeah my bad XD i just saw the join date of the poster and assumed it was the date for the post XD

How any store interface exists without something like this is Dnd Beyond me.
Glad to see it now exists. I have made good use of it and let my family know I'd prefer D&D books I've wishlisted over the same old amazon stuff.

This would be appreciated, even more if we could receive an notification on our emails to be aware when something appears in sale.
