Having been going through a few of the classes lately I've noticed that it shows the number of sub-classes each has across all the official rules. However while I understand they only show the SRD (and I presume the purchased options). Having just a simple list of the other sub-class options (maybe even a short description) could really help give people an idea on what is actually on offer for those classes. I understand that you shouldn't get all the listed options and full details without purchases, but some idea on whats on offer in other books would be great.
For example just a list formatted with Sub-class (source) would be enough so at the bottom of the sub-class character options a list below. EG. for Cleric Domains without purchases would be something like this
Life (with all it's details being part of the SRD) Death (Dungeon Masters Guide) Forge (Xanathar's Guide to Everything) Grave (Xanathar's Guide to Everything) Knowledge (Players Handbook) Light (Players Handbook) Nature (Players Handbook) Tempest (Players Handbook) Trickery (Players Handbook) War (Players Handbook)
Definitely a good idea! New players in particular might not know that those other archetypes even exist or can be bought from the corresponding books if they just look at the class page.
The same goes for things like different subraces from the supplements.
