I want to start by saying I don't have anything against CR, I've just never really been into it and don't plan to buy any of them. It's great, it's just not for me. Anyway. Since character creation has a CR on/off toggle already, I just thought it might be good to have a similar option for searching spells/subclasses/search in general as well. It's really annoying to see something I don't recognise, click the name, then realise it's more CR stuff. It's not the end of the world or anything, but it would a QoL improvement for non-critters, especially if they're planning to release more books – it's pretty easy to ignore the one book, but it feels like they're poised to put out more and I can see it becoming a real problem.
It is already a highly requested feature to be able to easily filter in the compendium and search function for only bought content and the likes. I don't own a lot of books and if i search something have of the stuff i see is from what i don't own..
