First and foremost, I truly appreciate the platform your team has developed. If it wasn’t for D&D Beyond, I would not be playing D&D.
I’m sure it’s been voiced to death, and more specifically for at least three years which your team has been aware of, but it’s coming up on 2022 and there’s still no way to make our own homebrewed weapons. This is strange to me because a custom action is seemingly more flexible than adjusting equipment. My DM is very creative, but his time is incredibly limited and I just want to help him and the group out by “implementing,” his creations.
I think the real kicker is that I search these forums, and I see official responses, and it’s still a vague ETA, for over three years… Meanwhile aspects of D&D Beyond that are working pretty well, or at least look pretty, are being updated to work a little better or look prettier. I think this is why companies have alphas and betas. To prevent these instances wherein it’s sort of like polishing a car instead of installing seats for people to sit inside.
