Thanks for replying. I should have put more detail in my first message!
The best way to describe it to use an example:
Assume I'm playing a monk as one of my characters and want to look up how "Evasion" works on the character sheet. Evasion is in the Features & Traits section, but unless I've got that part of the character sheet open, ctrl+F won't find it. I've got to click on Features & Traits and then use ctrl+F. If I've clicked on Actions, then using ctrl+F to find "Evasion" doesn't return any results.
Other times I may not be sure under which section a particular ability or item is, so have to open each section and look manually and use ctrl+F over and over again. In the middle of a game, this is a bit of a hindrance when speed is of the essence.
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, no there's no way to do that. Two clicks isn't too bad, though. I'd recommend always starting on the features & traits tab, unless you know it's an item you're dealing with. The actions tab is usually made up of things dictated from other tabs, like spells, class features, etc. Having the Monk page open in another tab might also help, but then there's the question of racial abilities, etc.
Is there a way of searching for abilities, items etc in the website character sheet?
The search bar shows results from the website, which isn't what I'm after.
Other than ctrl-f? Can you give a clearer example of what you're looking for?
