With all of the worldly concerns of predators and what not, why does this Forum allow people to specifically ask for minors (whether the person asking is a minor or not isn't the issue). I see many asking for those to be under 18 and a few as young as 14.
I've only since learned of this place, as I used to frequent the WoTC message boards and don't remember those kinds of questions.
It is not acceptable to post accusations about other people or any form of naming & shaming.
Real-life personal information about yourself or anyone else should also not be posted publicly on D&D Beyond.
We strongly suggest to never post your email address on the forums, even if you deform it well enough to not be picked up by bots. If you want people to contact you, we suggest you use the private message system.
Additionally, you must be at least 13 to use D&D Beyond (with that minimum age being higher in some regions) per Fandom Terms of Service
MEMBERSHIP
In order to use certain portions of the Services (described in more detail in our Privacy Policy), you will need to first register on the applicable Service. You must not register for membership in a Service where you are prohibited by law. In addition, the Services are intended solely for users who are:
In California and the EEA (excluding the UK), 16 or older; or
In the rest of the world (including the UK), 13 or older.
Any registration by anyone under those ages in the applicable jurisdictions is unauthorized, unlicensed and in violation of this Agreement. By registering for the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement set forth above and that you agree to and will abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
We also have a strict policy of not allowing discrimination based on any protected category, including age.
However, we do not prohibit users from specifying preferred age ranges they're looking to play with, such as 18+ or under 18. We respect that some users may either want to play with individuals close to their own age, or might have themes or topics they consider unsuitable for minors.
The moderation team is a finite group of people with finite time available to each of them. As such we ask that the community aid us and if any post is found that violates these rules, it be reported using the Report button that can be found on each post.
