I have seen there is a PBP forum here, but I would dearly love to see an IC and OOC chat feature in the campaign. As the game log already records rolls, adding these would enable PBP on mobile phones, with rolls taken straight from character sheets and, hopefully, a fully integrated encounter builder.

you... can already do PbP on mobile phones with rolls taken straight from character sheets and the encounter builder, using discord, Avrae, and either the web version or the app version of DnD Beyond.

Formerly Devan Avalon.
Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I second this. Having simple chat features in the campaign game log would go a long way to making d&d beyond a one stop shop for players. It's nice that we can use Avrae on discord but it's not something I want to do forever. Already other related platforms have more advanced features.

Aye, I've seen Avrae. It looks a bit involved in setting up for my "being bothered" phobic players.
