We do not have a public API and it's worthwhile to review section 2.2 of the Terms of Service.
Edit: Hey all, my initial message seems to have not communicated my intent clearly. To clarify, while I am happy to talk with you all about D&D Beyond, we aren't making special exceptions for side projects to access our internal systems. Best of luck with your personal projects!
Given:
(i) Data mining: Use any unauthorized means, process, or software that accesses, collects, reads, intercepts, monitors, data scrapes including without limitation, agents, robots, scripts, or spiders; or mines information (including reverse look-up or attempted tracing of Registration Data in any way and for any reason);
is there any way that D&D Beyond could authorise Master-Tier users to access the publicly visible information through 'authorized' apps, like a Developer program token. Blizzard has quite a good process for their Armory website for example.
A DM's screen webpage would be far easier, and less annoying to use than having 3-6 character sheets open on tabs, and no less intrusive.

You're pinging a message from 2 years ago posted by a former member of staff, I wouldn't expect a response.
I don't think they are asking for exceptions. I think they are asking to add it as a feature. Someone suggested subscription access and I think that's an awesome idea. If you have your reasons not to I respect that, but I can imagine both DND Beyond and the community could benefit from something of the sort.

+1 for API access. A simple read-only would be fantastic to create a DM screen to unite character stats, encounter links, maps, etc...
Yes Please! This would be awesome!
+1 for a read-only API access, so I can build a digital DM screen.

DnDBeyond said that a public API was in the works when asked about suing the source code feature of the homebrew section. Has that changed?
My Brews:
Race: Tropical Dwaves Spells: Summon Spirits Rites of Mummification
Monster: Osprey Feat: Skill Mastery–Animal Handler (Provides DCs for training animals applicable to those with and without this feat)

API access is still something we're interested in.

Find my D&D Beyond articles here
Also one people have been replying on consistently for two years, if that hints to current staff about the desire.
I wouldn't expect it anytime soon
Damn, would love to get API Access.
