I was thinking of getting the legendary bundle and 900+ is a lot to drop all at once. I had purchased the taldorei reborn from beddle and grim and there was an installment option to pay a bit at a time and was wondering if that could be something implemented here?
I don't see DDB/WotC doing that, especially since there's a built in "installment" plan of sort where you can buy books at regular DDB price and that price gets credited toward future bundles. So let's say you bought the core PHB, MM, and DMG. The price you paid would be deducted from the Bundle prices. With that in place, I don't see them having much reason for someone who wants to have it all at once but paid in installment.
A lot of modern "installment" plans are done/managed by third party credit companies, and I don't see Hasbro/WotC touching an area many business analysts are seeing as lose/lose for customers and vendors.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
I understand that but did the math before taxes its around 1080 to buy individual(excluding acquisitions inc and phandelver since was free not too long ago) . Im also not terribly hopeful for this to happen but it puts it out there and who knows they may take pity on on is broke DM/GM
Actually you're not understanding. Buying content separately and applying it to a bundle is actually a really good deal for you. Anything you buy separately gets automatically discounted from the price you will pay for a bundle that includes it, EVEN IF you don't pay full price for it. If for example (using US prices, here, adjust for your local currency if necessary), you buy just the PHB, the price for a Legendary Bundle or Sourcebook bundle will go down 29.99 for you, even if you use the coupon code from the Essentials Kit to get that PHB for half price. Using my own purchase history as an example, I've paid a total of $132.84 for various sourcebooks and a few a la carte spells and class options. However, the cost for me to purchase a Legendary Bundle is only $754.81, which is actually a discount of $188.30 from the bundle price. The difference is accounted for when you add up how much I saved with various coupon codes, discount weekends, and unlock codes I used from the Essentials Kit.
So don't be shy about buying a few books at a time, even if your long-term plan is to get a whole bundle. Just buy the books you want most until the remaining price to complete your bundle is something you're comfortable paying, and that will let you unlock the rest of it.
Edit: V V V Maybe that's the case, but I can't figure out why my discount is higher than my purchase history totals otherwise.
I found that only the amount I paid for a discounted product counted towards the overall cost of the Ultimate bundle - I wasn't credited with the full amount of the book.
