I'd expect he component filter to be exclusionary.
For example, if I select SM, it means I'm looking for spells that exclude Verbal components -- because I've been muted by some effect perhaps.
Instead, the filter provided any spells that had SM components, including spells that had Verbal. I didn't find that useful.
If you can think of a reason to have inclusive filters, maybe you can add a button for "exclude unchecked"

I came to the forums specifically to make this exact comment. Having the filter exclude the components that aren't selected is way more useful, I think.

I selected V and expected to see only spells with just verbal components. Instead it shows V/V,S/V,M/V,S,M spells.
I selected V,S and expected to see only spells without material components. Instead it shows V/S/V,S/V,M/S,M/V,S,M spells
I would like the VSM to be filterable as "yes / no / don't care" -- this is flexible (and just like ritual or concentration now)
Also, adding a cost factor as in this post:
