I know this pops up in the threads occasionally, but wanted to make a recent post, especially as the mobile apps have matured and more features are being added for managing whole sessions/characters/etc.
There really should be a native desktop or electron app that supports offline content. I purchased these books, I shouldn't need to have an active internet connection to use them.
There are scenarios where I have access to my laptop and am using it to run a game or want to work on planning a session, but don't have access to the internet, or where the public wifi network available is under heavy use and therefore intermittent. (Large events, public places without public wifi, traveling, etc).
Additionally a desktop app could support more features similar to the mobile apps like bookmarks, etc. I know that it's possible to run the apps via a mobile device emulator, but it's not the same.
Storage space also isn't as much of a concern on my laptop as it is on my mobile device. I can't have all the books downloaded for offline that I own on a single mobile device, I've got other things with a higher priority for that limited space. My laptop on the other hand has plenty of space available to download books and other content offline.
