I was thinking that if there was a way to link the Campaign books to a campaign that would be helpful for DMs so that we open the campaign and have all the info right there.
As an added feature if it populated the encounters for the campaign also and loaded the party, that would be a game changer on the setup of a session.
I think tying encounters to campaigns as some kind of DM screen is planned. I'm pretty sure premaking the encounters in adventure books is planned as well.
Not sure if they plan to have an auto fill that attaches everything from an adventure into a campaign, but its not a bad idea. And even if it isn't, it will still be easy to quickly grab encounters and maps and save them to the campaign as part of prep.
It is just a matter of patience. So, so much patience. If you are reading this in 2026 comment and we'll see if any of their planed updates for one D&D have happened yet.
I've suggested this exact thing a while ago, but with the feature hiatus that seems to be going on, I don't think this will happen anytimes soon

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB
