There really needs to be a separate fillable character sheet specifically for sidekicks. The one in extras is just awful. it automatically give a longsword and say chainmail to all warriors with no way to change it other than going in and hitting custom values. A cut down version the player sheet would be great. Really since the rules state that it good for a new player to play a side kick an option to make a side kick character would be just what is needed.
The sidekick from the Extras menu is from a campaign module, not from Tasha's. The Tasha's one isn't implemented at the moment.
Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.

DDB is great, but it could be better. Here are some things I think could improve DDB
but the side kick and extras don't show up on the PDF
so there is no charectorsheet for side kick.
