The Erhu (Chinese two stringed bowed musical instrument) doesn't appear in D&D Beyond when choosing instruments, but it does appear to be a valid musical instrument choice in one of the D&D source books (Dungeon magazine 195).
Could this instrument be added to options, so you don't have to manually insert it?
Ah that makes sense, thank you. Is that the case with the rest of the instruments then; they're all from official sourcebooks? I don't know if it's only posted in Dungeon Magazine, or if it is also in official publications, but I think the Erhu is a different enough instrument from the others in the list that it is worthy to be listed in instruments regardless. Has this happened by chance before with other instruments?
D&D Beyond only has 5e content. They're not going to add another instrument unless it appears in a new WotC book.
There's an easy solution. Add a similar instrument to your character sheet inventory and click on it. A sidebar will open and near the top is an option to customize. Change the name to Erhu.

Dungeon magazine is not a D&D fifth edition publication and therefore is not a source for options on D&D Beyond
