I have faith. You can always tell when true fans are at the helm. You know they play and are like "You know what would really be awesome?" And then are like "Oh cool, good thing we're in a position to make that!"
When BadEye makes that statement that the feature list we'd like to implement is in the hundreds, he's not exaggerating. I have seen less than 10 things mentioned on the forums since beta announcement last year that were not already on our futures list. I just wish there were 1,000hrs in a day... *sigh*
What on earth could possible make up hundreds of features like that? That's amazing.
I personally hope that we get character sheet importing someday- the 4e wotc builder had it and it made it possible to pass builds back and forth between people, I would also like to backup inactive characters locally so i can use my slots on more experimental builds and such.
Don't think backup/import will ever be possible, since that is part of the revenue model of this platform, and let's be honest 25/year ain't a bad price for the ease of use this platform gives. Duplicating/sharing, may become possible tho (i hope it does), tho lets be honest you can share a character to your campaign as the dm.
Yeah, it would still be more convenient to have the hero sub (so that it can be accessed from everywhere), I'm just leery of another subscription fee and wouldn't mind the inconvenience myself- I've already bought every book possible on here through the legendary bundle and i'd kill for more slots without the sub. You're probably right, something about another sub just makes me wince, its a total psychological thing.
join with a few friends and get a dm sub together, they give you the cash for the sub (50$) and with that they get access to your books (by adding them into a campaign) :P

heh they already have access to my material since I more or less share it freely around the table.
