I'm really tired of marketing emails insulting my intelligence by telling me that I can get 40% off books I already own while never having anything released in the last year discounted at all.
If you're going to just keep discounting the same books, just drop the price and stop insulting us with fake sales. This (plus dropping content quality) is a major reason I stopped taking a chance at on new books.
Maybe apply a drop of context before shouting from the rooftops that we can save money we can't. We know you track us in weird ways from your privacy policies, maybe take a step back and make some decisions on the information we're happy to have you know.
