This has been requested for years by (probably) thousands of DMs, but for some reason, the powers that be are set on not adding this particular modularity.
When you play a regular, non-comical campaign, you don't necessarily want the Acquisition Inc. content (spells, items, backgrounds, etc.) appearing as options.
Hence, there should a toggle on/off option in the character builder, like for Eberron and Dragonlance.
(And for Spelljammer and other campaign-specific content, for that matter).
