In also having this problem. Along with not being able to manage my paladin spells on my mobile character sheet. Another thing I can pick a spell I already have from my paladin subclass to add to my spell list and that should be allowed. It's just confusing. Wotc needs to get it together if they are gonna build up all this hype for there 5e revised phb and not have the app ready to integrate the new rules.
It seems like a bug all rangers or paladins will run into at level 2 should be high-priority. I dont know what’s causing it though. Maybe it’s harder to fix than it seems. Has staff responded about it anywhere?
With a game as popular as D&D can’t they recruit a bunch of interns to fix all this stuff for free? :)
still not fixed. cant add protection fighting style to my paladin even with the work around mentioned....
The original issue from this thread was fixed over a year ago, so you may be running into something different.
If you're using the 2024 version of the Paladin class, you will need to own the Player's Handbook (or have access to it through content sharing in a campaign) to use that Fighting Style feat. If you don't, then you'll only see the Fighting Style feats from the free Basic Rules product, which doesn't include Protection.

Is WoTC just not going to fix this bug? I haven't been able to pick a fighting style since the new rules came out.
Feels like the DBeyond book is not yet to be released. This is not DD quality.

How is this not fixed yet?
