tl:dr - it looks like a DDB article got updated and lost some original Ravenloft content and I’d love to find it again (even better to talk to the author).
Full issue description: There was a DDB article published soon after Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft came out (likely summer 2021) offering teaser guidance for how to run a D&D horror game. It has specific guidance for Ravenloft too, including a set of secrets for DMs to play with. For example, the mystery of Sigil Lakes, the Eris family, and a joke about the last page.

Other internet locations that talked about that article now link to a later DDB article from 2022 by Joe Starr, with no list of Ravenloft “Easter eggs.” Said article: https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/1356-how-to-bring-horror-to-your-d-d-game
Can I find that original article somehow? And/or can I interview the author about the information therein?
