I checked and this hasn't been reported in any sense, way or form. I don't know where to report it either so here's hoping. Now magic initiate says that the level 1 spell gained from it can be cast by ANY spell slots availabe, yet for some reason DnD Beyond does not let me cast healing word (the spell I got from magic initiate: Druid) using any of my RANGER spell slots. I don't see it saying this particular trait of the feat is only designed for full caster classes so is this a bug?

Same for me, as sorcerer. It does not show up as a spell I can cast using slots, or upcast at all. I can only use it with the once per day feature
I got it for my cleric and healing word doesn't show 'always prepared' either. I have the one "use".
Is this ever going to be addressed, lol?
you also cant upcast a spell gained this way for some reason
Same issue. Got the magic initiate from the acolyte background.
You can "fix" this, by creating your own feat with that spell and giving your character said feat.
