I just bought both the physical and digital version of the 2024 DMG, I already own the digital and physical copies of the new 2024 Player Handbooks. I was really hoping that with this purchase I would be able to use the new sheet set up. I've only heard speculation on if dndbeyond will get it or not. Has/will dndbeyond comment on if we will be able to use the 2024 character sheet format soon?
Definitely dndbeyond should make the 2024 character sheet the standard default and the version that prints to pdf. Also, it would be great if dndbeyond made the data available for 3rd party applications, or dndbeyond would make it possible to print better looking character sheets. The print to pdf if lame...dry basic. We should be able to take our data and print it in a variety of forms and many different character sheet layouts. That seems like a function we are paying monthly subscriptions for.
Given that both are under WotC, and the 2024 players handbook has put so much effort into reinforcing the new character sheet layout, this is a serious miss.

do you mean the new sheet PDF? this is found here:
https://media.dndbeyond.com/compendium-images/free-rules/ph/character-sheet.pdf
If you mean the digital character sheet, it is already updated to 2024 rules.
But not to the 2024 design/layout. As far as we know there are no plans to do this.
The Digital Sheet doesn't use the 2014 layout either, it uses its own design.
