So i was looking to run an event and one of my players wanted to use the Echo knight. We plan to use the 2024 rules for this Turns out the "new" classes wont allow me to use the third party sub-classes. not only that but it is not allowing them to use any content i have shared in the campaign. This is a huge let down and wonder what the issue seems to be.

We've had a number of threads on this issue already - the third party subclasses need to be updated to work with the new classes, and that requires the involvement of the original authors. It's not something D&D Beyond can do on their own. We've been told that it's in the works, but no timetable has been announced.
Until it's done, it's possible to use D&D Beyond's homebrew system to duplicate the third party subclasses for now.

WotC must have known about this issue when they started selling third party products.
