Three requests / bug fixes all in one, all of which will GREATLY increase the searchability and usability of the site, both from within and externally.
1) BUG: The Source metadata for the 2025 Monster Manual monsters is missing.
REPRO: Search "Ancient Blue Dragon" using internal search, you will see in the results that the Source is set for the 2014 version, but not the latest. This should be be consistent across the board: Spells, Monsters, Magic Items, etc.
FIX: Apply the metadata like everywhere else.
2) MINOR ENHANCEMENT: Add the Source information and Legacy tag to the search metadata so that it shows up in external search engines. This is an annoying problem now that is easily fixed.
REPRO: Go to Google and type "dndbeyond magic missile" and note the results. You get both spells, no clue which is which unless you pick on them. This results in THOUSAND (perhaps tens of thousands) of unnecessary page vends per day as people open both.
FIX: The search metadata could easily label it as "Magic Missile (Legacy) - Spells", and it would still show correctly on the site as "Magic Missle". But, now folks searching would EITHER search engine will see it correctly.
3) MAJOR ENHANCEMENT: The Legacy badge should also be a hyperlink that takes you to the latest published version of the item! Hovering over it gives you a tip as it does today (and that tip continues to have an hyperlink which explains what Legacy means). But, clicking the Legacy badge itself should take you to the latest version. Slam dunk.
Or, if you don't want to overload the badge, just add a plain hyperlink "See Latest Version" after "Legacy" badge. That's fine as well.
