It's BLATANTLY obvious by this point that all fixes to content that would require more than 15 minutes coding rewrite & expansion of Beyond were put on indefinite hold due to executives expecting Sigil engagement to distract from such.
Sigil is basically in development hospice right now. It'll be dead soon.
So I'm asking for transparency..
Because now that Sigil is all but dead, we deserve 3 things as a community, especially the paying customers.
1. ALL promises before & after the buyout to be fulfilled 2. ALL content given away or sold, regardless of origin, to be functional, fully & completely integrated with all other content that's any degree of reasonably applicable, even if it's old and/or not sold anymore. 3. All future content to follow rule #2, regardless of how complex.
So it's best to know what was not done SPECIFICALLY due to Sigil, the firings & hirings around such, & any planned & future monetization of Sigil & any further goods and/or services to be distributed, sold &/or advertised through Beyond.
This is not an assumption of bad faith:I'm applying Hanlon's Razor in full force with the management of Hasbro, WotC & whomever else made these decisions that did multiple kinds of real harm to Beyond.
Nor am I calling for monetary, emotional or any other form of compensation. I also do not endorse any form of vigilantism, trolling or other distasteful actions in the wake of whatever response I get.
I just think that somebody needs to talk to the community, not repeat bylines, and reveal what exactly what between fixing numerous bugs pre & post-buyout, content not being readily fully integrated and implemented before sale, the numerous undelivered pre-and-post buyout promises, and general issues with clearly distinguishing between 2014 & 2024 content when reasonable to the consumer, were, in some way, delayed, denied, de-prioritized, or otherwise made more difficult by the clear focus on Sigil's monetization when it was to hypothetically be released as a finished product, & Beyond's direct sales makeover, from the higher ends of the corporate perspective.
I know this is a tall ask, but someone had to.
Please consider my request.
