I don't know when it finally went in because I haven't been back here so much since it was a problem, but I just logged in today and noticed that under the "Character Preferences" section there's now a checkbox to toggle "Core Rules" (the 2024 ones). FINALLY.
Thank you for finally accepting this was necessary and implementing it. Hopefully you've learned something from this that will help prevent similar frustrations in the future.
