I don't know if this is a new thing or I never noticed before, but when editing fields the "Save" button is gray. Typically in UI when we see gray we think a button is unclickable and therefore ignore it, so it's not super intuitive to see that and remember you need to save. Maybe make it red instead, then green as usual when saved? That would draw attention to it, which is what you want to make sure you don't leave any changes unsaved.
EDIT: Just realized that the save button color is designed to match theme color. I think this is problematic when gray (and probably other colors too), and keeping the save button red regardless of color would make a lot more sense - like the green when it's saved.
