Ahhh, I see what you mean. I my mind I was reading it in the same cadence as the word "animated" so it seemed "off". Thanks for clarifying!
That said, given that the spell is Animate Objects, every monster title uses Animated [Object], I (and probably a bunch of other readers) still instinctively expect ‘such animated objects’ in the flavor text for nice consistency. It’s a super minor thing, but if it ever comes up in errata, swapping to the past-participle form would probably removes the speed-bump for most players. Either way, I appreciate the polite correction!
